Event and Facility General Assistance - Fundraising Lunch - Volunteer Assistant
So They Can's mission is to work together with communities in Africa to educate and empower, so they can break the poverty cycle, realise their own potential and meet their own needs.
A fantastic fundraising event is coming to Wanaka on Friday 6th March for the annual 'So They Can' New Zealand lunch and we are in need of exceptional volunteers to help make this event a success.
Reliable, smart, polite and friendly volunteers are required to help deliver this lunch fundraiser. Varied roles including selling raffle tickets (using mobile EFTPOS machines) staffing a table selling handmade African products, assisting with the two auctions and general event assistance. We would love to find volunteers who are happy to talk to others.
These roles are located in Wanaka.
Volunteers are required from 11.45am - 3pm on Friday 6th March.
We are looking for people who:
Are keen to help make this event a huge success and to raise $1000's for communities in Africa.
Volunteers need to be mature, reliable, polite, well presented, friendly and happy working within a team.
