Event and Facility General Assistance - Fundraising Dinner - volunteer assistant
So They Can's mission is to work together with communities in Africa to educate and empower, so they can break the poverty cycle, realise their own potential and meet their own needs.
A fantastic fundraising event is coming to Wanaka for the first time - the annual 'So They Can' New Zealand dinner and we are in need of exceptional volunteers to help make this event a success.
Taking place on the evening of October 27th, reliable, smart, polite and friendly volunteers are required to help deliver this black tie dinner fundraiser. Varied roles including selling raffle tickets (using mobile EFTPOS machines) staffing a table selling handmade African products, assisting with the two auctions and general event assistance.
Located in Wanaka at The Venue.
Volunteers are required from 5pm - 11.30pm on October 27th although not all volunteers will be required to stay until the very end.

We are looking for some amazing volunteers to help make this event a huge success and to raise $1000s for communities in Africa.
Volunteers need to be mature, reliable, polite, well presented, friendly and happy working within a team.
Volunteers are required to wear black on the night.
