Active Volunteer Positions - Workshop Assistants - S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Granville Service Center

We are recruiting volunteers to support our Workshops at our Granville Service Location.

Work location: #300 – 8268 Granville St. Vancouver

Key Responsibilities:

  • Helping staff set-up classroom for the workshop or session, and help with wrap-up
  • Take attendance, assist clients fill out intake forms before the workshop and direct clients to venue
  • Support the speaker and staff during the workshop as required
  • Distribute survey forms and handouts, collect forms after the workshop
  • Assist in survey response count and summary

Qualifications Required:

  • Intermediate level of English
  • Ability to speak another language is an asset
  • Criminal record check clearance (may take up to 4 weeks)
  • 19 years or older

  • Specific orientation to the workshop volunteer position
