Active Volunteer Positions - Workshop Assistants - - S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Service Center ( Pender Location )

We are recruiting volunteers to support settlement workshops at our Vancouver head office.

 

Work Location:

S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Service Centre

28 W. Pender Street

Vancouver, BC V6B 1R6

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Provide support to workshops such as

  • Set-up & take-down
  • Assisting attendees with sign-in
  • Materials distribution
  • Survey forms collection

Time Commitment and Schedule:

Workshop dates and times vary. Approximately 3 hours per shift

Shifts occur Monday-Friday between 9am and 5pm.

 

Qualifications Required:

  • Intermediate Level of English or above
  • Intermediate Level or above of Mandarin, Cantonese and or Arabic
  • 19 years or older
  • Must be willing to conduct a criminal record check
  • Customer service experience (preferred)

Orientation and Training Provided:

  • General orientation to S.U.C.C.E.S.S
  • Specific orientation to the volunteer position
