About the Youth Leadership Millennium (YLM) Program

The Youth Leadership Millennium (YLM) program empowers youth to take on leadership roles in their personal lives and the community. We strive to offer youth the skills and competitive edge required for successful personal, relational, and community growth.
We are looking for responsible and energetic individuals who enjoy working with young people and enjoy the outdoors.

 

 

Who we are looking for:

 

We are looking for responsible and energetic individuals who enjoy working with young people. As a volunteer, you will help mentor, guide, and create relationships with our youth during weekly sessions and trips. A long term commitment is preferred. 

 

We also go camping during the Summer and are looking for people who are willing and available to attend multiple of our activities. 

 

Role details:

 

Location: 28 W Pender Street, Vancouver 

Date & Time: Wednesday evenings 5:00-7:00pm, Occasional Saturdays

 

 

Duties:

  • Support staff to facilitate games, activities and lessons
  • Act as a mentor to the young people in our program
  • Engage with and encourage young people to participate in activities and group discussion

 

 

 

Qualifications Required
