Youth - Youth Center Activities Aide

- Volunteers will be required to complete a volunteer/background application and pass criminal background check

The Youth Aide will report to the Youth Director and/or Youth Supervisor for all duties and responsibilities. The Youth Center Activities Aide/Volunteer will supervise children and youth during and unstructured activities, sports activities, field trips and snack times.  The Aide/Volunteer will ensure the safety of children and youth and respond appropriately to emergency situations.  He/she will enable children and youth to experience success, providing opportunities for discussion on individual or group concerns, taking advantage of teachable moments.  He/she will model and teach good sportsmanship, decision-making, problem-solving, team building, and leadership.   The Youth Center Activities Aide/Volunteer will perform any additional responsibilities and duties as assigned by the Youth Director and/or Youth Supervisor.  Other duties may be assigned by the Business Administrator and/or Corps Officers.

Qualifications Required

  • Background Check
  • Age Category Must be at least 18 or older
  • Safe From Harm Training Must be at least Basic: Modules 1 - 4
