Food Services - Kitchen Volunteer
- Must adhere to kitchen rules
- Must wash hands frequently
- Must wear hair nets, beard nets (if applicable) while in the kitchen
- Must be able to stand on cement floors
- Must be able to lift 10 lbs.
- Inspect food prep and serving areas to ensure safe, sanitary, food handling practices.
- Prep and serve food while wearing gloves as per county / state law / health codes.
- Wash, peel, cut, bake, roast, broil, steam etc. meats, fish, vegetables etc. to appropriate temperatures to ensure they are cooked sufficiently.
- Maintain daily, weekly, monthly cleanliness of the kitchen, including surfaces, closets, cabinets and appliances.
- And all other duties necessary to operate a clean and efficient kitchen.
