Food Services - Kitchen Volunteer

  • Must adhere to kitchen rules
  • Must wash hands frequently
  • Must wear hair nets, beard nets (if applicable) while in the kitchen
  • Must be able to stand on cement floors
  • Must be able to lift 10 lbs. 
  • Inspect food prep and serving areas to ensure safe, sanitary, food handling practices. 
  • Prep and serve food  while wearing gloves as per county / state law / health codes. 
  • Wash, peel, cut, bake, roast, broil, steam etc. meats, fish, vegetables etc. to appropriate temperatures to ensure they are cooked sufficiently. 
  • Maintain daily, weekly, monthly cleanliness of the kitchen, including surfaces, closets, cabinets and appliances.
  •  And all other duties necessary to operate a clean and efficient kitchen.
