Church Ministry Positions - Music & Gospel Arts - Drama Coordinator
The Drama Coordinator is responsible to find and produce dramas for worship services keeping with the theme of that service. The Drama Coordinator also works with the Drama team to set up rehearsals and is responsible for recruiting new members.
The role involves recruitment, training, and managing volunteers; selecting, preparing, and performing skits/plays; and collaborating with the Pastor and the worship team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Select scripts or develop original content.
- Prepare costumes, sets, and props, and manage inventory.
- Coordinate with other church ministries, such as music and visual arts, to integrate drama effectively.
- Recruit, train, and manage volunteers for various roles, including actors, stage managers, and production team.
- Lead rehearsals, auditions, and ensure a positive and productive environment.
- Provide guidance to actors and other team members.
- Communicate effectively with the congregation and community regarding upcoming rehearsals and opportunities to participate.

- Strong Dramatic Skills: Enthusiasm for acting, directing, and other dramatic arts.
- Leadership and Teamwork: Ability to lead, delegate, and work effectively with others.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with both the congregation and other church staff.
- Organizational and Time Management Skills: Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative Vision: Ability to create original content and adapt existing materials.

- Age Category Must be at least 18 or older
- Safe From Harm Training Must be at least Basic: Modules 1 - 4
