Ongoing Hope Center Opportunities - Dry Goods Pantry Sorting
Help Provide Food to Those in Need!
Are you looking for a hands-on way to give back to your community? The Salvation Army needs volunteers to help organize and ensure that our pantry remains well-stocked, organized, and ready to serve our shelter residents and community.
Responsibilities:
- Sort and organize donated non-perishables
- Check expiration dates and ensure food safety standards are met
- Stock shelves and maintain an orderly pantry space
- Assemble food packages for distribution (during the holiday season)
- Assist in inventory tracking and restocking as needed
- Follow pantry guidelines and safety procedures
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift and carry boxes (up to 25 lbs.)
- Attention to detail and ability to follow sorting guidelines
- Dependable, team-oriented, and willing to assist where needed
- No experience-necessary training will be provided!
Time Commitment:
- Flexible shifts available Monday – Friday

- Background Check
- Age Category Must be at least 18 or older
- How much can you lift comfortably? Must be at least 30lbs
- Safe From Harm Training Must be at least Basic: Modules 1 - 4
