  • Focus on Community Needs:
    These volunteers are dedicated to addressing the specific needs of individuals and families and connecting to resources provided by the Corps Officer. 
  • Practical Help and Support:
    They may be involved in tasks like delivering meals, helping with transportation, or visiting nursing homes or shut ins. 
  • Emotional and Spiritual Care:
    Beyond practical needs, they offer a listening ear, encouragement, and spiritual guidance to those in need. 
  • Accountability and Coordination:
    They are accountable to the church's leadership and work in coordination with other volunteers and church staff to ensure efficient and effective service. 

Qualifications Required

  • Background Check
  • Age Category Must be at least 21 or older
  • Safe From Harm Training Must be at least Basic: Modules 1 - 4
