Outreach/ Living Center - Living Center Resident Assistant
Do you like being a mentor and helping others that are down on their luck. This position is working in our Transitional Living Center (aka Shelter). Helping our case managers monitor residents and keeping the Living Center friendly and welcoming.
The Living Center is a program that houses 20 men, 6 women and 1 family of a family up to 6 people. Residents are allowed to stay 30 -90 days if they follow our program expectations. We Transition people back in to society through this program to get them back on their own.
Must be over the age of 18 and not a resident for the past 1 year.
Volunteers will be asked to help with the following duties.
Monitoring residents in different areas, Wake up calls, Bed Checks, Keeping food cabinet stocked, Helping with meals, help with housekeeping and others duties as needed.
Qualifications Required
- Background Check
- Age Category Must be at least 18 or older
- Safe From Harm Training Must be at least Online Training Abuse & Policies
