POSITION TITLE: Food Service Worker
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Emergency Disaster Services Coordinator
DEPARTMENT: Emergency Disaster Services
POSITION SUMMARY:
The food service worker/cook is responsible for preparing and serving food and beverages. He or she needs to be familiar with the operation of all cooking equipment on the canteen and must be trained in safe food handling. The food service worker/cook is responsible for keeping the food preparation area sanitized; ensure the menus are set; and that all supplies and food needs have been met for continuing operations
QUALIFICATIONS:
Include, but are not limited to, the following:
Trained in Safe Food Handling
First Aid preferred
CPR preferred
HOURS AND TIMES:
DURATION: Ideally on call for a shift (8:00am to 5:00pm; 5:00pm to 12:00am; 12:00am to 8:00am) for seven days for one week a month.
