Volunteer Ushers - Usher

G Live is a multi-disciplinary live entertainment, conference and hospitality venue situated at the top end of Guildford High Street. 

If you want to get involved in the Guildford arts and entertainment scene; make new friends, meet new people and share your interests then this is the role for you! We provide full training and support.

G Live volunteers undertake a variety of usher duties, including meeting and greeting patrons, checking tickets, selling ice creams and programmes and have a chance to see a variety of main hall and studio shows.

When Required - Time Flexible, Part Time 

Minimum commitment two shows a month.

Skills 

We look for a combination of the following things:

A kind and helpful attitude

A sense of humour

A genuine interest in the arts, particularly music and/or theatre

Good self presentation

A good team player

Customer service experience preferable

Those aged 16 and above may apply

Mission Statement

G Live is a live entertainment venue. With two performance spaces, the Main Hall and the Studio, we programme various events across the year, including live music, gigs, musical theatre, comedy and much, much more!

G Live will not use volunteers to replace members of staff, but rather to work alongside our staff to enhance the experiences and opportunities the venue can provide.
