Youth Behavioral Health Programs and Safe Streets

Administrative & Operations Support - Building & Grounds

NOTE: Individuals who are not part of a group and wish to make multiple visits are required to complete an application and background screening for this volunteer role. Please contact Volunteer Services about the process if you are interested in signing up: volunteercfs@cc-md.org.

Vegetable Gardens - Villa Maria School

We have a few vegetable gardens around Villa Maria School. Students grow seeds and young plants in the greenhouse. Plant into garden beds. And tend plants through a outdoor, Earth Science classes. Volunteers can help with watering and weeding to more skill-intensive projects. The fences were assembled by volunteers!

Courtyards - St. Vincent's Villa

We are fortunate to have these spaces in the midst of our residential treatment center, and we rely on volunteers for their care. Three of our smaller courtyards are adorned with bushes, seating, planters, and pathways, but quickly become messy if not regularly tended.

All of these garden and courtyard spaces provide opportunities for respite and therapeutic recreation, but they also provide a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere to those on campus.

Day of Service

Groups of 2-5 people can work in a courtyard together and TIMES ARE FLEXIBLE on weekdays. When signing up, indicate what day and time works best for your family or group. Tools and gloves provided.
