Remote (At Home) Volunteering - No Computer Work! - Kitchen / Food / Casserole Donations

Casserole Donations: Earn student service hours by making, freezing, and delivering casseroles to our program for meal services.

  • 2 service hours per 1 casserole donated
  • Maximum 10 casseroles donated at one time
  • If making multiples, we ask that you use one recipe
  • Information Sheet and Recipe Book available, email acapone@cc-md.org

General Food Donations:

  • Especially needed right now: breakfast foods--bagels, bacon, individual cereal, juice, breakfast casseroles
  • Pre-made bagged lunches (sandwich, condiments on side or we can provide, 1-2 snacks such as pretzels or granola bar, a bottle of water, and fruit if possible)
  • Pre-cooked and frozen casseroles 
  • Bottled water, ground coffee, tea bags, drink mix (lemonade, iced tea)
  • Loaves of sliced white or whole wheat bread, tortillas
  • Canned vegetables (green beans, peas, spinach, collard greens, sweet potatoes, corn)
  • Canned soups (chicken noodle/variations, tomato soup, vegetable soups)
  • Frozen ground beef or turkey
  • Aluminum foil
  • Clear sandwich bags

Drop Off Info: Open donation hours are from 1pm-4pm, Monday through Friday, at 411 Cathedral St., Baltimore, MD 21201.  Weekend appointments must be made through acapone@cc-md.org
