Donation Needs - Food Pantry Donation Drive

Shelf-stable food donations give Anna's House residents reliable access to nutrition without straining the limited budgets they're working to rebuild. Since many families arrive with little income while working toward self-sufficiency through the program's career and life-skills training, items like canned goods, rice, beans, and pasta don't require refrigeration and have a long shelf life. They're easy for the house to store in bulk and distribute steadily over time rather than needing frequent replenishment.

Additional items include, canned tuna or chicken, canned pasta and canned fruit. Other favorites are peanut butter, jelly, mac & cheese, canned chili and stew.

For mothers focused on stabilizing their families after homelessness, having a dependable pantry reduces daily stress and food insecurity for their children. Ultimately, shelf-stable donations are a simple, low-maintenance way for the community to provide consistent support to families working toward independence.
