Working with Adults with Intellectual Disabilities - Special Friends
Interact with adults with intellectual disabilities in a variety of ways, such as: 1:1 support within classrooms, group home visits, Sunday visits to the main center, and during the week with the day program. This is geared towards high school students who need hours for school requirements. Group home and Sunday visits may require the student to prepare a simple activity to do within the homes/apartments.
