Youth Behavioral Health Programs and Safe Streets

Behavioral Health - Working with Youth - Garden and Ecology Activities

St. Vincent's Villa Residential Treatment Center has a children's garden with vegetables, herbs, and cutting flowers all planted and harvested by the children... with your help and guidance! Once a month, the Gathering Point Giving Circle leads a garden activity for the children, exposing them to aspects of gardening and engaging in some fun, productive time outside. Volunteers 16 and older are welcome to assist with hands-on experiences outdoors (weather permitting) with an indoor option, plus a fresh snack. Screening and training is required for volunteers.

Members of the Glen Arm Garden Club lead an activity for one of the Residential Treatment Units at St. Vincent's Villa on first Saturdays of the months in Spring, Summer, and Fall.
