Programming Administrative Volunteer

Description: Do you have excellent computer skills? WHRC needs an administrative volunteer to assist the Client Curriculum Coordinator. This is a great opportunity to serve the homeless population & learn marketable job skills and obtain references. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old. 

Time frame: Flexible within the hours of 9am-5pm Monday through Friday

Skills required: Must be able to type,possess excellent computer skills; Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel & Internet. Good record keeping, recording data in logs, compiling paperwork from WHRC groups, & detail oriented. Ability to multi-task.

 

**Please note that the first step in the process of becoming a Programming Administrative Volunteer is to attend a Volunteer Orientation, which can be scheduled under "General Volunteer" on the main page**

About us:

The Weinberg Housing and Resource Center (WHRC) is a low barrier emergency shelter that provides homeless services to over 275 adult men and women each night in the City of Baltimore. Our services include shelter, convalescent care, breakfast and dinner, showers, laundry, case management and a variety of life skills and empowerment classes -- with a focused goal on assisting residents in obtaining permanent housing.
