Welcome to Summer Adventure 2023! Summer Adventure is the library's re-imagined Summer Reading Game.

As a volunteer, you will sit at a table near the library Help Desk on the 1st floor to show library visitors how to participate. You will learn about Summer Adventure by completing activities during your volunteer shifts. This way you can show younger children and other library visitors what to do.  We will have Summer Adventure Guides available so you can help members navigate the rules and enter prize drawings. You may also assist with Summer Adventure programming and crafts and demonstrate activities.  

There is no orientation session.  

In order to volunteer as a Summer Adventure volunteer you must meet the following requirements. 

•     Be 12 years of age or older 
•     Show up for all assigned shifts (shifts are in 2 hour time blocks)

You can volunteer for up to 1 shift per day. Shifts are posted 2 weeks at a time.

The next set of shifts will be posted during the second week of June.

*Note for parents: Please have your teen fill out a volunteer application since they will be the one volunteering.   

**Note for first time applicants: When you apply, please do not enter a school e-mail address. Any e-mails to school e-mail addresses from outside organizations will bounce back.
