Fremont In-Person Volunteer Opportunities for Teens - Seed Library

Sign up to be a Seed Library volunteer today! You will help package, label, and file seeds for the seed library. These packets are available for the public to take with them to plant in pots, or yards. Its a way of supporting awareness of our planet. You don't need to know a lot about gardening, but it is very helpful to be interested in gardening, working with seeds, and plant maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Be 12-18 years old
  • Work independently
  • A commitment of 1-2 hours a week for at least three months.

To apply please fill in the application if you haven't already. You may schedule shifts after your application is approved.

Please note: Each shift has a limited number of slots available. Because of how the software works, if you sign up, please come to the library at that designated time. You will not get an email verification.

Currently, I am putting up a week or maybe two at a time. please do not sign up for more than one shift  per week.

When you come in for your shift please sign in at the Information Desk on the 2nd floor.
