Fremont In-Person Volunteer Opportunities for Teens - Literacy Fest: Celebrating the Act of Reading
Help us to Celebrate the act of reading. We are having an all ages event on Saturday September 19th and will need help the day before ( Friday September 18th ) and the day of the event
Shifts:
Friday, September 18
4:00PM – 5:00PM – help organize materials and prep for Literacy Fest (volunteers will meet in Fukaya Room)
Saturday, September 19
9:00AM – 11:00AM Help with setting up the event (volunteers will meet me outside, around the back of the building)
10:30AM – 1:00PM Help during the event, oversee an activity station (should be comfortable speaking with event attendees, volunteers will meet me outside, around the back of the building)
1:00PM – 3:00PM – Help during the event, oversee an activity station (should be comfortable speaking with event attendees), support with tearing down event/clean up (volunteers will meet me outside, around the back of the building)
All volunteers should wear sneakers or other good shoes - the ground is uneven outside.
Qualifications Required
- Ages 13 - 17
- Age Level Must be at least High School Teen
