Teen Volunteer Opportunities - Summer Adventure 2026 Volunteer Orientation
Our Summer Adventure volunteers help members participate in Summer Adventure and earn prizes! Volunteers should be friendly, organized, and enthusiastic about engaging with our community.
All potential volunteers are required to attend one of our orientation sessions. Please be sure to sign up for only one volunteer orientation.
Please note: You are required to have completed one Summer Adventure volunteer orientation in order to volunteer. If you attended an orientation at another Alameda County Library branch, that will qualify.
Newark Library Summer Adventure volunteer orientations will be Tuesday, May 12 from 4-5pm, Saturday, May 16 from 11am-12pm, and Tuesday, June 23 from 2-3pm.
An ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter or closed captioning can be provided for this program if requested at least seven (7) days in advance. For assistance, please contact your library or accessibility@aclibrary.org.
Qualifications Required
- Age Level Must be at least Middle School Teen
