Pasadena Unified School District - Foster Youth Resource Center
Pasadena Unified School District is partnering with All Saints Church Foster Care Project in coordinating Stars Foster Youth Resource Center at Muir High and Eliot Middle Schools.
Adult volunteers are needed to help support valuable programs and services. These Centers provide a safe haven for students transitioning into a foster care placement to a Pasadena Unified School District school site. Caring volunteers can make a life changing difference for Pasadena Unified School District youth.
We are looking for passionate volunteers for our centers at Muir High and Eliot Middle School. Volunteers will:
- Help create a college going culture
- Mentor and tutor students
- Discuss career paths and post-grad options
- Inform foster youth of community resources
- Engage students in self-development activities
