Interns - Administrative Intern


Under general supervision, performs a variety of support duties for one of the following offices: City Manager and the City Council, Financial Services, Public Works, or Human Resources; assists with preparing agendas, reports and correspondence, assists in maintaining general files; assists with records management systems, provides customer services to a variety of City Hall customers, works on special projects as assigned.




  • Responds to requests for service and administrative support from the City Council, City Manager;
  • Performs administrative assignments including typing, data entry, filing, and answering telephones;
  • Compiles information and helps prepare and distribute City Council and other board and commission agendas;
  • Responds to community needs in terms of non-departmental service complaints and inquiries;
  • Performs other related duties as required.


Qualifications Required

  • Current Student Status or Graduate within 2 years Must be at least Yes
  • Proficiency with Excel Must be at least Intermediate
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word Must be at least Intermediate
  • Research Must be at least Basic
