What is a blitz project?

In this very visible role, you’ll attack graffiti by painting over it on structures large and small. To help reduce and discourage criminal defacement of private and public property and make Fort Worth an even more beautiful community!

These are the locations this blitz project will be covering:

2703 Glendale Ave.

2617 Glendale Ave.

2224 McKinley Ave.

Please arrive at the first blitz location,2703 Glendale Ave. , at your designated event time. From here will we start our first project and later in the day drive to our next locations. Again, you must have your own vehicle.

-Age range to participate:

Ages 7-12 (need one-on-one guidance from a parent or guardian)

Ages 12-16 (Can volunteer with a group leader or one-one-one with a parent or guardian)

Ages 17 and up (Can volunteer alone)

-All participants/groups are required to have their own vehicle to travel to each location, we will not be providing any transportation.

-All participants must wear closed-toed shoes and clothing that you would not mind getting paint on. You will also be outdoors for the duration of the blitz, so we ask that you please be prepared for the elements.
-Before your blitz gets started, we will give a brief presentation of information regarding why we are doing the blitz and the importance of your contribution, also any safety precautions or history of the area.

-If for any reason the weather the day of your event hinders us from doing the blitz, we will reach out to you ahead of time to reschedule.
-If you have to cancel or amend your volunteer project, please do so in better impact or email me at margo.gordon@fortworthtexas.gov at least 1 week before your event.
