Programmatic - Homework Club Supervisor

King Library Homework Club Supervisors need to attend one training in order to be a Homework Club Supervisor. Supervisors will report directly to the Children's Librarian. They will be responsible for monitoring the Homework club volunteers and children, ensuring a safe and productive environment, putting out signage the day they volunteer, setting up the room, and setting out snacks for the children.

Currently, we are recruiting for 3 supervisors willing to commit to working either a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday between 3-5pm during the Spring 2019 school year. The position will start in March and continue through May 2019. Interested applicants should turn in an application immediately.

Supervisors will need to be fingerprinted by a facility approved by the Library. This will be paid for by the City of San Jose. You will be given a list of locations where you can go to be fingerprinted. Locations offering fingerprinting that are not on this list will not be accepted. This process can take up to 1 month. Information will be sent to the applicant after the initial interview.

Thank you for your interest!
