Library Services - Teen Library Services Volunteer (Training Shifts)
Teens! Help your local library with a variety of services including organizing and displaying materials, shelving selected materials, assisting with programs and special projects, and other opportunities within the library.
Meet new people and network with library staff and volunteers. Gain experience for your resumé and/or college application. Training will be provided. You can sign up for shifts after you finish applying to be a volunteer.
**The Library Service Volunteer Program will begin with at least 3 training sessions (offered Tuesday through Thursday). Once completed, volunteers will be able to apply for a wider variety of shifts (offered Monday through Saturday).
• Age 15-17.
• Responsible and dependable
• Able to file alphabetically/numerically
• Able to follow directions
• Able to work independently
Commitment: 2-4 hours a week for a minimum of 6 months
