Programmatic - 3D Printing Program Leader

Do you enjoy working with technology and inspiring creativity in others? Our Library is seeking a dedicated volunteer to lead our 3D Printing Program. This is a hands-on opportunity to guide community members—both beginners and enthusiasts—in exploring the exciting world of 3D design and printing.

Responsibilities include:

  • Setting up and operating the library’s 3D printer.

  • Teaching participants how to design and print their own projects.

  • Leading workshops and drop-in sessions in a friendly, supportive environment.

  • Ensuring safe and responsible use of equipment.

What we’re looking for:

  • Comfort with technology; prior 3D printing experience preferred but not required (training provided).

  • Strong communication and teaching skills.

  • Patience and enthusiasm for working with learners of all ages.

Time commitment: Flexible, with workshops typically held monthly.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys STEM education, creativity, and community engagement.

  • Age Must be at least 15+
  • Oral and written communication skills in English Must be at least Medium

  • Oral and written communication skills in Vietnamese Must be at least None
  • Skilled in basic internet, email, and Microsoft Office Must be Yes
