Programmatic - Búsqueda de Trabajo
Position Overview: Support Hispanic job seekers in writing and updating their resumes. Teach them how to find job opportunities online and how to apply for jobs in Spanish.
Responsibilities:
Use your expertise in career development and online job searches to provide one-to-one assistance to help job seekers to:
- Create/update their resumes in English
- Search for jobs online
- Showcase their individual skills and talents for prospective employers
- Help them to fill out online applications and attach their resumes

Training/Support Available:
- Library Technology
- Training on select databases
- Orientation to library services
- Ongoing support from a designated staff member
Qualifications:
- Age 21 or older
- Bilingual: Spanish/English
- Understanding of online job search procedures and resume practices
- Excellent oral communication and written skills
- Good person-to-person skills
- Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite, LinkedIn, the Internet, and email
- Fingerprint clearance required
Commitment:
Six-month commitment. Available at regularly scheduled times, for 2 hours a week – specific times will be determined with library staff
