Programmatic - Maker Monday Helper AY 25/26

Help local students reach academic success at the library and foster their ability to succeed in school.

How You Will Make a Difference

Maker Monday Helpers will assist with making samples, demonstrating skills, and passing out materials. 

Volunteers are needed to

Assist with art enrichment activities

Commitment/Schedule

  • Volunteers need to commit to 1.5 hours once or twice a month, for a minimum of 1 semester.

Prospective volunteers should

  • Complete Homework Club Volunteer Training
  • Have experience or interest in working with youth
  • Have strong oral communication skills
  • Be dependable, patient, and flexible
  • Complete a fingerprint background check, at no cost to you. Only required if you are 18 years or older

Language Skills

  • Bilingual skills are highly desired, but not required.

Qualifications Required

  • Age Must be at least 15+
  • Oral and written communication skills in English Must be at least Medium
  • Online Orientation for On-site Volunteers Completed Must be Yes
