Programmatic - Event Helper - Program Assistant

Educational Park Branch Library is seeking volunteers for Program and Event setup, assistance, and clean-up. Teens and Adults welcome. Volunteers will:

  • Assist with instruction and facilitating program with the guidance of the program lead
  • Assist with program setup and breakdown

Commitment:

  • As needed. Opportunities will be scheduled on Better Impact.
Events:
Trunk or Treat 2025
Date: Saturday, October 25, 2025 
Time Commitment: [1.25hr Shifts]
3:45PM – 5:00PM: Setup, attendance count, traffic control, outdoor games, candy handouts, ballet handouts/collection, quickly train your replacement, etc.
 
5:00PM - 6:15PM: takeover previous volunteers' station - attendance count, traffic control, outdoor games, candy handouts, ballot handouts/collection, cleanup, etc.
 
Meet at the sign-in desk for a shift duty. If you, your family, or your business would like to reserve a car spot to decorate and handout goodies instead sign-up for the "trunk or treat car + candy giver" activity or email: javier.deleon@sjlibrary.org with your name [and company], number, email, and how many car spots you need. You can get volunteer credit this way as well.

  • Age Must be at least 13+
