Programmatic - Program Facilitator

How You Will Make a Difference
Program Facilitators help enhance the library’s mission of providing services that are known and valued by the culturally diverse community. The goal of a Program Facilitator is to create an opportunity for teenagers to practice their presentation skills in front of an active audience while providing adult supervision during the program, alerting them when their program end time is approaching, and providing feedback after their presentation.
Volunteers are needed to:
- Passively attend and supervise teen-led programs
- Communicate comfortably with host
- Provide feedback and offer suggestions in achieving the best program outcome
- Communicate with staff regarding program needs

Commitment/Schedule
Schedule is dependent on the availability of the volunteer for a 6-month duration.
Prospective volunteers should:
- Be comfortable working with teenagers in a class setting
- Be dependable, punctual, and responsible
- Complete a fingerprint background check, at no cost to you
