Programmatic - Crafts for Children
Do you enjoy working with 0-8 year olds and their caregivers? Do you like to do arts and crafts with this age group? Then, this is the volunteer opportunity for you!
We are looking for two very reliable and available individuals to assist with a weekly Wednesday arts/crafts program from 4-5pm one day per week. Ideally, these individuals would work a 3-4 hour shift, helping with preparation starting as early as 3-3:30pm, setup, the craft program itself from 4-5pm and clean up - till 5:30 or 6. Supplies will be provided.
Commitment:
- Once a week from August-May (Wacky Wednesdays) with the opportunity to extend, if interested
- Shifts will include additional time for preparation, set up and clean up
Requirements:
- Interview with King Library Children's Librarian to discuss arts & crafts ideas
- Complete volunteer training module
- Adults 18 years and older will need to clear the City's fingerprinting process

Qualifications Required
- Age Must be at least 13+
- Oral and written communication skills in English Must be at least Medium
- Online Orientation for On-site Volunteers Completed Must be Yes
