Literacy/Education - Become an Adult Literacy Tutor - January 2020 Training
Become a Tutor
Imagine how hard life would be if you could not use an ATM, send an email or understand the directions on a medicine bottle. Become a volunteer tutor for Partners in Reading and teach reading and writing to adults with low literacy. The experience is rewarding and the adults are inspiring. Adult students are English-speaking and over 18. You can teach one-on-one or in small groups at any of the 25 branches of the San Jose Public Library.
