Programmatic - Program Assistant

Are you interested in serving as a program assistant for staff-led library programs? Do you have a passion for guiding and supporting others? Then this is the perfect opportunity for you.

How You Will Make a Difference

Program Assistants help enhance the library’s mission of providing services that are known and valued by the culturally diverse community. The goal of a Program Assistant is to reliably assist library staff with the presentation of various library programs

Volunteers are needed to:

  • Attend and assist staff-led programs
  • Communicate comfortably with host
  • Provide feedback and offer suggestions for achieving the best program outcome
  • Communicate with staff regarding program needs

Commitment/Schedule

Schedule is dependent on the availability of the volunteer for a 6-month duration. 

Prospective volunteers should:

  • Be comfortable working with all ages
  • Be dependable, punctual, and responsible
  • Complete a fingerprint background check, at no cost to you

Qualifications Required

  • Age Must be at least 18+
  • Oral and written communication skills in English Must be at least High
