Programmatic - D&D Club Facilitator

The Seven Trees Branch Library is looking for a tabletop RPG &/or D&D Club facilitator to shape the next generation of players! Utilize your passion for gaming by facilitating RPG campaigns for children or teens.
How You Will Make a Difference
If you’re passionate about storytelling, strategy, and imagination, this is a perfect opportunity to share your love of gaming. As a volunteer facilitator, you’ll help children or teens learn the basics of tabletop role-playing games (RPGs), foster creativity, and build teamwork skills through exciting campaigns and adventures.
Volunteers are needed to:
- Plan and lead tabletop RPG sessions for children or teens.
- Introduce new players to the rules, character creation, and collaborative storytelling.
- Create a welcoming, inclusive, and safe gaming environment for all participants.
- Manage game logistics, including scheduling sessions, setting up materials, and maintaining supplies.
- Communicate regularly with library staff about attendance, needs, and feedback.

Commitment/Schedule
Willingness to volunteer at least once a month for a 6-month duration. Schedule is dependent on the availability of the volunteer.
Prospective volunteers should:
- Have experience as a DM/facilitator
- Age 15 or over
- Ages 18 and over must complete a fingerprint background check (at no cost to you)
- Be comfortable in leading meetings and engaging with new people
