Programmatic - Computer Assembly Assistant
Educational Park Branch Library is seeking volunteers for a group Computer Assembly Program. You'll be taught how to assemble/disassemble multiple types of computers ahead of time then you will teach others in a group setting. Help local students achieve academic success, and introduce them into the fields of computers and technology. Teens and Adults welcome.
Volunteers will:
- Assist with instruction and facilitating program with the guidance of the program lead
- Assist with program setup and breakdown
- Schedule Assessment/Training session prior to events.
Commitment:
- As needed. Opportunities will be scheduled on Better Impact.
Event Agenda:
1) setup (disassemble computers)
2) event (present hardware PowerPoint, assist public with computer assembly)
3) cleanup [and reassemble any computers not used]
Qualifications Required
- Age Must be at least 13+
- Computer Assembly Assistant Training Must be Completed
