Programmatic - Alum Rock Branch 20th Anniversary Helper
Are you looking for a fun opportunity to support the library and local families this Summer? The Dr. Roberto Cruz Alum Rock Branch Library is looking for enthusiastic volunteers interested in helping us throw a block party for the community in celebration of 20 years of service.
How You Will Make a Difference
Help create a safe and welcoming experience for our neighborhood.
Volunteers are needed to:
- Set up/Clean up
- Assist with craft activities
- Count participants.
- Help move people through the event
- Pass out materials
- Greet the community and answer questions

Commitment/Schedule
1 time commitment of 2 hours.
Prospective volunteers should:
- Be comfortable in engaging with youth and families
- Possess the ability to take initiative and work independently
- Be dependable, punctual, and responsible
Qualifications Required
- Age Must be at least 15+
- Oral and written communication skills in English Must be at least Low
- Online Orientation for On-site Volunteers Completed Must be Yes
