3) Therapeutic Programs at Camden - Around the Town Club
This program is made to encourage socialization out in the community. Its a social club that utilizes community activities which are selected by the group to improve socialization, leisure awareness and independent living skills. You will get the opportunity to help the participants try new things and explore the community and provide support and encouragement. There are two teams, both at the same time.
Participant Ages: 18+
The first night of program will be held at the Camden Community Center. Location thereafter varies based on participants chosen activities. Staff to participant ratio is 1:6.
Location may vary based on planned weekly events.
Qualifications Required
- Able to Lift Must be at least Up to 25 lbs.
- Able to Read and Understand English Must be at least Yes
- Age Must be at least 18+
- Assignment Type Preference Must be at least Group
- CPR/AED Certification Must be at least Current
- First Aid Certification Must be at least Current
- How often do you want to volunteer? Must be at least Weekly
- Orientation Completed Must be at least Yes
