Are you looking for a rewarding way to help your community? San José Public Library is looking for enthusiastic community leaders interested in helping students have fun afterschool at the Library building with Lego® pieces.
How You Will Make a Difference
Foster creativity in children and enhance the image of the library as a fun and welcoming place by leading the Joyce Ellington Public Library LEGO® Fun Club
Volunteers are needed to:
- Oversee the weekly meetings
- Setup and Clean Up the LEGO® pieces each week

Commitment/Schedule
Willingness to volunteer for one hour weekly, afterschool, for a 6-month duration.
Prospective volunteers should:
- Be comfortable engaging with youth and families
- Possess the ability to take initiative and work independently
- Be dependable, punctual, and responsible
- Complete a fingerprint background check, at no cost to you. Only required if you are 18 years or older

- Age Must be at least 15+
