Programmatic - Programming Assistant for Lego Club

Duties:  
Program set-up and clean-up, including carrying boxes of Legos to and from the program area, preparing the space, ensuring all bricks are picked up at the end of the program. 
Supervision of participants, especially younger participants, and ensuring that program materials are respected and used in a proper manner.
Counting how many participants attend each session and sharing this information with library staff for statistical purposes.
Communicating with library staff, if additional program assistance is needed 
Providing assistance and help to participants, and promoting a fun atmosphere.

Requirements: 
Must be able to commit 2 hours a week for at least 6 months
Enthusiasm for creating with Legos. 
Must be comfortable interacting with children and families. 
Must be able to lift large and medium boxes of Legos. There are often six boxes of various sizes. 
Fingerprinting is required for all volunteers ages 18 and older.

Saturday Schedule:
2:45 - 3:00 p.m. - set up
3:00 - 4:30 p.m. - program
4:30 - 4:45 p.m. - clean up and put items away
