Friends of the Library - Friends of the Evergreen Library
The Friends of San José Public Libraries support, advocate and raise funds for the library. Each Friends group supports a specific San José Public Library branch with book sales and other activities.
The Evergreen Friends have an ongoing book sale in the library and a quarterly book sale in the Community Room. Friends are responsible for logging their own hours. Friends should sign up for Book Sale shifts, then log separately under Friends of the Evergreen Library Book Sale shifts, any hours spent for both the Book sale itself and any time spent advertising, preparing for, cleaning up after the Book Sale event.

- Age Must be at least 18+
- Online Orientation for On-site Volunteers Completed Must be Yes
