Programmatic - Design/Coding Instructor for Kids
Bascom Branch Library is looking for engaging, patient, and knowledgeable tech volunteers to teach coding programs to children, ideally in person but we may consider virtual as well. The coding tech volunteer/s would be responsible for creating a curriculum and leading the workshop.
We are especially interested in programs that deal with introducing youngsters to game design apps, like MIT App Inventor, however, we are also seeking volunteers to hold coding programs such as JAVA and Python, among others. Volunteers ages 18 and up most submit a background check which is performed free, by the city.
Qualifications Required
- Age Must be at least 15+
- Oral and written communication skills in English Must be at least High
