Programmatic - Reading Buddies
Reading Buddies creates a positive reading experience while working one-on-one with children in grades K-5 to guide them in their practice of reading, with the goal of improving their reading skills and building their confidence.
Responsibilities include listening to children who are practicing their reading skills, asking questions about the books they are reading to encourage comprehension, and modeling the use of the dictionary to learn how to pronounce and define words.
