Position Overview:.

- Foster creativity in children and enhance the image of the library as a fun and welcoming place by leading the Santa Teresa Public Library LEGO® Fun Club
|
|
Responsibilities:
|
- Develop a vision for the club
- Oversee the weekly meetings and decide the content and structure of each session
- Incorporate the library’s materials and educational resources into the meetings with assistance from a library staff member
|
|

Training/Support Available:

- Assistance from a staff liaison to develop the club
- Training and support from staff about the library, programs & services
- Library materials and resources
- Library supplies the LEGO® Bricks

Qualifications:
|
- Age 18 or older
- Experience working with young children of all ages; reliable, creative, and flexible.
- High degree of initiative
- Fingerprint clearance required
|
|
Commitment:
|
- 6-month commitment of one hour per week (Tuesdays 4:30-5:30pm)
