How You Will Make a Difference
Teen Program Assistants help enhance the library’s mission of providing services that are known and valued by the culturally diverse community. The goal of a Program Assistant is to reliably assist library staff with the presentation of various library programs
Teen Volunteers are needed to:
- Attend and assist staff-led programs
- Communicate comfortably with host
- Provide feedback and offer suggestions for achieving the best program outcome
- Communicate with staff regarding program needs

Commitment/Schedule
Schedule is dependent on the availability of the volunteer for a 6-month duration.
Prospective Teen volunteers should:
- Be comfortable working with all ages
- Be dependable, punctual, and responsible
- Complete a fingerprint background check, at no cost to you
Qualifications Required
- Age Must be at least 15+
- Online Orientation for On-site Volunteers Completed Must be Yes
- Oral and written communication skills in English Must be at least Medium
