Featured Roles - Information Desk: University Hospital of Northern BC
Northern Health partners with the Auxiliary to support the information desk at the main entrance of the hospital. Information Desk volunteers help direct clients and visitors by providing directions, escorting visitors to find their appointment locations and answering general information questions.
The following skills and abilities will benefit an information desk volunteer:
- A calm, friendly demeanor with good listening skills.
- The ability to engage with clients in general conversation to create a positive experience.
- Willingness to work with clients of diverse backgrounds.
- Good working knowledge of hospital layout.
