Event Fundraising & Sponsorship Coordinator

The Event Fundraising & Sponsorship Coordinator will work with the Greater Victoria Festival Society board members to secure the funds needed to facilitate our 3 World Class events in Downtown Victoria! (Wicked Victoria on October 30, 2016, the Island Farms Santa's Light Parade on November 26, 2016 and the Island Farms Victoria Day Parade on May 22, 2017)

The ideal volunteer will have a passion for fundraising and the idea of closing a deal for funds to support a great community event makes you tingly inside.  Your strong interpersonal skills mean you can build relationships that will make the event a success.  Attention to detail, strong writing skills and a positive can do attitude make you an ideal candidate for this important volunteer role.
