Enjoy spending time with children? Love art? 

We are looking for energetic & outgoing teen volunteers who are team players and willing to learn leadership skills to serve as week-long camp volunteers. 

At Camp DCL: Full Day Camp AM Art, you’ll be working with campers ages 5-10 years old each morning from 9am-12pm.

Volunteers will:

NOTE: Campers will take a one hour lunch break between AM and PM sessions, and duties will include helping during this time.

Volunteer spots are limited.  Once you register for this opportunity, a Volunteer Services Coordinator will reach out to discuss next steps to ensure you are a good fit for this role.  Accepted volunteers are required to watch a 10-minute training video and pass a quiz at least 5 days before the camp starts. 

Library staff will be present for ongoing support throughout your shift.  Camp volunteers will be provided with a free T-shirt and DCL water bottle.  Snacks will be available. 

PLEASE NOTE: These are week-long opportunities.  By registering below, you are available for the entire week, Monday through Friday, June 9 through June 13, 2025 8:30am to 12:30pm.  This camp has morning and afternoon shift commitments available.  If you would like to help all day, you are welcome to register for overlapping shifts. 

If this is your first time volunteering for Douglas County Libraries, a Volunteer Services Coordinator will reach out to schedule a 15-20 minute new volunteer orientation prior to your first shift. 

If you need to cancel, please do so at least 4 days in advance to allow us time to find another volunteer to fill this important spot.
