Library Events & Programs - Don't Bug Me, I'm Reading: Fridge Critter Magnets

We would love YOU to volunteer at this summer program for kids!

As a supplement to our Summer Reading Program, Douglas County Libraries is hosting "Don't Bug Me, I'm Reading: FRIDGE CRITTER MAGNETS."  Attendees will learn how to sculpt little critters and attach them to magnets.

Energetic and outgoing volunteers will help set up, assist with activities, and help put the room back in order at the end. No advance training is necessary. Library staff will show you how to help and will be present for ongoing support.  Feel free to bring a snack to eat during the break.

First time volunteering for Douglas County Libraries?

Please email Kim McClintock to schedule a required new volunteer orientation before your first shift.

If you need to cancel, please do so at least 4 days in advance to allow us time to find another volunteer to fill this important spot.
